IPB and ApexBrasil partner wins the World Branding Awards

Pet Society receives 2023 Pet Brand of the Year award; the event took place at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria

São Paulo, August 2023 -  The Brazilian company Pet Society won the “Animalis” third edition of the World Branding Awards 2023, focused on brands in the pet sector, with Hydra, its brand of professional products for animal health, hygiene, and beautification. The event was held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria.

Pet Society is a participant in the Pet Brasil Sectorial Project, a partnership between IPB (Instituto Pet Brasil) and ApexBrasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos). The initiative helps companies interested in exporting their products and services, as well as promoting the Brazilian pet sector, through trade missions, business roundtables, and Brazilian delegations at international fairs, among other tools.

“For the IPB, it is always important to exalt the awards won by Brazilian companies, especially when it is our partner. This shows that, although the Brazilian pet market faces many difficulties, our work is well done and is on the right track”, says Nelo Marraccini, president of the Instituto Pet Brasil’s Advisory Board.

The World Branding Awards, an award recognized worldwide, is divided into three pillars: Global Award, Regional Award, and National Award - Pet Society received the award in the Regional Award category in Belgium and South America, showing its relevance in the segment of hygiene and pet grooming.

“We are very honored by the important international award our Hydra brand has received. We were awarded as an international highlight at an event that has already been received by major brands, such as Apple, Nike, Whiskas, and Frontline”, adds Cleiser Kurashima, Marketing Director at Pet Society.

About Instituto Pet Brasil

Instituto Pet Brasil (IPB) was born in 2013 to stimulate the development of the Pet sector, composed of the pillars of creation, products, and pet services. The industry generates over 3 million jobs and moves a chain with over 150 thousand companies. The entity leads projects to promote knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovation to professionalize the entire pet chain. It pioneered the dissemination of the study on Animals in Vulnerability Conditions, which brought an overview of the scenario of pet abandonment, NGOs (over 400), their distribution across the states, and the number of assisted animals.

Our goal is to build a professionalized sector and strengthen the relationship between humans and pets, which has proven to be beneficial for the health and well-being of both.

IPB provides relevant information for the sector and promotes the training of Brazilian companies, generating more competitiveness and, with that, increasingly better services for our best friends.
